This stunning new work—A Bride’s Woven Plea—marks a powerful collaboration between dance artist-choreographer Vidya Patel, the renowned Philharmonia Orchestra, composer Shammi Pithia, and spatial designer Shankho Chaudhuri.
What to Expect
An immersive performance blending dance, live music, and spatial storytelling, A Bride’s Woven Plea explores women’s journeys through time, across migration, and into memory. Drawing inspiration from plaiting, it symbolises resilience, identity, ritual, and the weaving of culture into contemporary British life.
