RBC India Ensemble and Sampad presents Milan 2026

Rohan Roy appears in support at Milan 2026, a celebration of cultural exchange presented by the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (RBC) India Ensemble in partnership with Sampad Arts.

Milan 2026 brings together the talented student musicians of the RBC India Ensemble and established artists from Birmingham’s rich Asian arts community. The concert promises a memorable evening of Indian classical music, contemporary fusion, and cross-cultural collaboration, reflecting Birmingham’s vibrant and diverse creative landscape.

Rohan Roy is a progressive violinist and composer born in Kolkata, India, now based in London. Specialising in Indian Fusion music, he has performed as a soloist on over fifty Indian films and more than a hundred television appearances, and has delivered concerts both nationally and internationally. His compositions weave together Jazz, Rock, and Indian classical traditions with distinctive ethnic stylisations, innovative tonality, and music technology.
